For the eighth time, the Pioneers Festival took place and attracted more than 2500 visitors from all over the world to Vienna. The festival should give an insight into the world of startups and provide support to such. Therefore the mentors, who gave over the past weeks advice and guidance to startups that have been selected previously, played a significant role. I was one of that 34 mentoring experts. As a coach, I had the great opportunity to share my know-how and experience and help startups getting started.
I was especially happy that I had the chance to give "my" ten startups together with Can Ertugul as Head-Coach, Imre Hild, Thomas Tiroch and Toot Shani individual and direct feedback, so I was able to support them optimally. After the mentoring phase, the startups presented their ideas and plans in the context of the Pioneers Challenge and have been evaluated by a jury of experts. Six of the startups I've mentored made it into the Top 16.
Prior to the challenge, I was able to provide direct feedback and training within the mentoring process to Instafin, the world's first true Core Microfinance System which managed to win the Pioneers Festival Startup Challenge. Through experience and know how the startup helps customers to grow their business.
